Gear Collector is an ecommerce site for the boutique and custom guitar, amplifier and effects pedal industry. The company had 20 days in advance of the NAMM tradeshow to launch a complete solution that included soup-to-nuts graphic design, e-commerce functionality, hosting, lead-generation capabilities, manufacturer profiles, and products from 12 different manufacturers. In addition, each manufacturer had unique ordering and drop-shipping requirements that needed to be accurately reflected on product pages.
Zero 2 Eleven delivered the site on-time and on-budget. Starting with Photoshop composites and content coming from all directions, we also had to install a complete WordPress and Woocommerce implementation with a merchant account, PCI-compliant security, and a host of additional software plugins to meet the client’s functional goals. Reaction from manufacturers and customers was stupendous, and the company successfully processed its first order within 72 hours of launch.
